Tate was lost in a car accident and Karen Wilson succumbed to cancer.  I spent my first years at Ski Depot working with Karen in the mid 80's.  WOW!!!  She was crazy, fun, beautiful, a rippin skier, catty as hell, and adored her son Cory. I would like to thank her for taking care of me in those eary days.  I was only 17 when I moved to Winter Park and Karen really looked after me, fed me when I didn't have $ to eat (I spent it all at the Slope), nursed my hangovers for me, and gave me quite an education! 

Then there was Tater Tot. He would get SO MAD when we accused him of being an ABBA fan.  One time while skiing, he crashed his face right into Topher's ski boot and Toph had to drive him down to have his teeth put back together by Toph's Dad Pete.  He wore braces for a while after that incident. 

Burt Funk. "B-Funk". Super sweet AND funny! Alaska skier & river kayaker. Infectious smile we can never forget.

Packy. SoOoo many stories.  So many laughs. Loved by so many people. I'm sure we will all have some Packy stories to share in July.

We all have our Toper stories. Our Topher moments.  Topher is a legend, forever frozen in his youth.  As we come together to celebrate old friendships and reminisce about our crazy past, be sure to take a moment to share your Topher storys with his Dad Pete Sendroy on Saturday night.  He will be there representing for his boy Toph.
